The 18th edition of the Wawanesa OHL Plays of the Week for the 2018-19 season feature a collection of the league’s Top-5 goals during the week ending January 27.

This week’s highlights include Nicholas Porco of the Saginaw Spirit who uses speed to gain separation on a shorthanded break, then Philip Tomasino of the Niagara IceDogs also steps on the gas to break free for a game-winning rush.  Some terrific teamwork is on display by the Kitchener Rangers as Rickard Hugg feeds Jonathan Yantsis for an overtime winner, and the Erie Otters work the penalty kill like they’re on the power play with puck movement between Chad Yetman, Jacob Golden, and Gera Poddubnyi.  The week’s top play belongs to Liam Foudy of the London Knights with an incredible one-hand Forsberg-like finish on the breakaway.
