The first edition of the Wawanesa OHL Plays of the Week for the 2018-19 season feature a collection of the league’s Top-5 goals scored in #OHLOpeningWeek action ending September 23.

This week’s highlights start with a give-and-go between Peterborough Petes Brady Hinz and Pavel Gogolev, followed by a North Bay Battalion tic-tac-toe featuring Brad Chenier, to Justin Brazeau, to Cameron Peters for his first career OHL goal.  Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds first round pick Ryan O’Rourke also joins the countdown scoring his first OHL goal on a nice set up from Morgan Frost and Anthony DeMeo, followed by a Barrie Colts 4-on-4 clinic displayed by Joey Keane, Ryan Suzuki, Nathan Allensen, and Lucas Chiodo who finishes the play.  The top play fittingly goes to the top pick of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection Quinton Byfield of the Sudbury Wolves with a beauty breakaway goal for his first of many more to come.
